From Android 2.0 on, the API for accessing signal strength was deprecated by Google; I'm trying to find a work-around

update: future version for Android 2.1 will support it

Some widgets are not working

I'm trying to identify what goes wrong. However, in most cases I have heard, those widgets finally get to work (some told me they work after rebooting). After all, the code driving normal widgets completely come from the stock Home application. So before I solve the problem (if ever :P), just give it some time and try again later. Thanks~

Status bar & Notification missing

Sorry for making this confusing, I set "hide status bar" to be default.

To restore it, long press the notification button in the power strip. Basically, long pressing that button will toggle the display of system's status bar.

The reason for doing so is that the theme of that status bar is not configurable; it does not go well with some wallpapers and widgets.
